1. Data Controller
GESU Arıtma Sistemleri San. Tic. Ltd. Şti. (“GESU”) attaches great importance to the protection of your personal data under Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”).
2. Personal Data Processed
When you visit our website and complete the contact, quotation or catalogue forms, the following personal data may be processed: identity details (first name, surname), contact details (e-mail, telephone, address), company details and project details (sector, capacity, wastewater characteristics and similar technical information).
When you submit a form, the following technical records are also transmitted: the address of the page from which the form was sent, the date and time of submission and — if any — the source information showing which campaign or link brought you to the site (UTM parameters, advertising click identifier).
3. Purpose of Processing
Your personal data is processed for the purposes of preparing quotations, evaluating projects, managing customer relations, fulfilling legal obligations and improving service quality.
4. Transfer of Personal Data
Your personal data is not shared with third parties except where legally required. Within the scope of a project, it may be shared with our business partners and suppliers only to the extent necessary.
5. Transfer Abroad
Our website and form infrastructure run on servers operated by our cloud service provider Cloudflare, Inc. (Cloudflare Pages, Workers and KV storage). Data you submit through the forms is therefore processed and stored on servers located outside Türkiye in order to provide the service.
This transfer is made under Article 9 of the KVKK on the basis of the explicit consent you give by ticking the consent box when submitting the form. You may withdraw your explicit consent at any time by writing to info@gesu.com.tr.
6. Cookies and Browser Local Storage
To maintain your experience, our site keeps the following records in your browser’s local storage. These records stay in your browser, are not sent to the server unless you submit them, and can be deleted from your browser settings:
gesu_basvuru_taslak — a draft of the information you left unfinished in the quotation form (deleted once the form is submitted).
gesu_utm — source information showing which campaign or link brought you to the site; transmitted with your enquiry on submission.
gesu-lang — the site language you selected.
gesu_oneri_ad — the name you entered in the on-site suggestion / feedback box.
7. Retention Period
Quotation, contact and catalogue request records submitted through the forms are retained for the period necessary to evaluate the request and for the subsequent commercial relationship. At the end of that period, and once the statutory limitation and retention periods have expired, your personal data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised. You retain the right to request earlier deletion (see section 8).
8. Your Rights
Under Article 11 of the KVKK you have the right to learn whether your personal data is being processed, to request information if it has been processed, to learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in accordance with that purpose, to know the third parties to whom it has been transferred in Türkiye or abroad, to request correction if it has been processed incompletely or incorrectly, and to request its erasure or destruction.
