Our Story
From Bursa 1996 to 17 Countries
Founded in Bursa as GOEMA
The company was founded in Bursa in 1996 under a German partnership as GOEMA, with the goal of delivering European-standard engineering and manufacturing in industrial wastewater treatment.
100% GESU
Following the separation from the German partnership, the company became 100% GESU — fully independent Turkish capital, developing its own engineering know-how and manufacturing capability.
İBRİK Equipment Brand
İBRİK, our equipment brand, was launched in 2015 — standardizing the treatment equipment we manufacture in-house: screens, DAF units, scrapers, dosing systems, filter presses and more.
R&D Investment
In 2018 we established our R&D activities: process development, jar test laboratory work and pilot studies that turn field experience into repeatable, optimized treatment designs.
Factory in Bursa — 5,000 m² Site
Since 2020 we operate from our facility in the Leather Specialization & Mixed Organized Industrial Zone in Bursa — a 5,000 m² site with 2,000 m² of covered production area, running robotic welding, CNC plasma and laser cutting, and modern press brake lines. See the factory in detail →
17 Countries, 500+ Projects
Our engineering and GESU-manufactured equipment have been delivered to 17 countries — including Ukraine, Ethiopia, Iraq, Turkmenistan, Morocco and the Philippines. From jar test laboratory to 3D design, robotic manufacturing and on-site commissioning, every step runs under one roof and one responsibility. Our 3D workflow runs on SolidWorks, and we have begun our investment to transition to plant-scale BIM (Revit).
