Beko-Arçelik Eskişehir Refrigerator Factory — Treatment Plant Revision and Water Reuse

The factory’s existing treatment plants were revised from end to end; the water recovery system is being built from scratch. Installation is nearly complete; commissioning is planned to be completed in September 2026. In total an investment of nearly €1 million in treatment plus water recovery.

Two Separate Jobs, One Project

Reading this project correctly matters: the revamp and the water recovery are not the same thing.

1 — Full Revamp of the Existing Plants

The factory’s existing industrial and domestic wastewater treatment plants were overhauled end to end: process, equipment and automation were renewed by GESU.

2 — Water Recovery Built From Scratch

The water recovery system is independent of the existing plants and is being built from scratch — once commissioned, industrial and domestic water will be recovered on two separate lines and the treated water will go back into production. Commissioning is planned to be completed in September 2026.
